The annual San Diego Restaurant Week kicks off again for the 19th time this year in San Diego county! After a few years of health restrictions, the foodie festival is back at full capacity. From April 3rd to 10th, you will again get the chance to enjoy a giant variety of foods and meals from more than 90 locations that will be participating in this event. From classy steakhouses to little coffee shops, many of the restaurants in the area will open their doors to hungry clients for them to try their food at a really inexpensive price.
All the participating will offer two-course menus starting at $10 and as expensive as $25, or a three-course menu options from $20 to $60, depending on the establishment you decide to choose. The two-course option is usually for lunch and includes a starter and a main dish. On the other hand, the three-course one is for dinner and is composed by an appetizer, the main dish and a dessert.
This is a great opportunity for you to get out of your comfort zone and enjoy new flavors and types of foods. The kinds of meals offered come from all over the world (Argentinian, Mediterranean, Peruvian, Greek, Italian, American…) and feature many different styles (farm-to-fork, vegan, steakhouse, contemporary, fusion, seafood…). Some of the restaurants included in the deals are:
- Farmer’s Table: family-owned restaurant with contemporary organic American-Italian dishes, three-course menu for $40.
- Saltwater: seafood restaurant with a contemporary, luxurious interior setting inspired in a 90’ Riva yacht. Three-course dinner for $40.
- Osteria Panevino: Italian restaurant featuring one of the best pasta and pizza in town. Three-course menu is $40.
- Butcher’s Cut: American bar and grill with a coastal vibe that features a wide variety of meals, such as fresh seafood, dry-aged steaks, and handmade pasta. Three-course dinner is $50.
